If you don’t know the story you can google it, but basically eBay and Nike teamed up for a 1 of 1 dunk release back in 2003 or so with all proceeds going to charity...it reached $30k-40k, depending on who you ask. They created one pair for the promo pics for the auction, destroyed it (by taking a saw to it and cutting it into 4 pieces) and THEN created a pair in the auction winners size after it was all said and done.
