Back when I was a kid, there was this goofball I used to hang out with from time to time. He was all Nike all the time. I’m talking the big swoosh t shirt with the swoosh basketball shorts and the swoosh socks with the loudest Nike’s on his feet you could imagine. Day in and day out. In the late 90s. He used to talk about getting a Nike tattoo all the time in hopes that Nike would pay for it. One time, we went to the beach, and he cut a swoosh out of a Nike bag and taped it to his back so he could get a swoosh sunburn (he had VERY fair skin). This guy was something else...when I think of ‘brand loyalty’, he’s who I think of.
