Well...the #snkrs app showed me a ‘sold out’ button before the notification had even finished vibrating, so I wasn’t able to get my hands on a pair of DQM 90’s.
Guess it’s time to play the waiting game, now. Someone who overextended themselves is going to wear their pair a few times, then list on one of the sites for a quick sale and I’ll be happy to oblige. Funny to watch the prices fall on StockX, tho. At one point I saw the bid and offer $3 apart on a $255 sale. Could you imagine giving up a sale over 1%? Crazy.
Anyway, I broke my New Years resolution. Saw this pair of Size? UK x Nike Air Max 93’s at my local thrift (IN MY SIZE) and had to cop. It wasn’t even a question. I didn’t even consider NOT copping. I knew, implicity, that this day would come - an absolute personal unicorn that I couldn’t pass up. I know they’re not like grail status or anything, but I always loved these dark-earth-tone Air Maxes. Especially those with non-white midsoles. So this was it. My Air Max Day cop.
Most of these Size?UK 93’s are hard as hell to find because virtually NOBODY cares about Air Max 93’s. Let alone dark midsole pairs with dark earth-toned uppers. These aren’t listed on GOAT...StockX has them for a few hundred...I didn’t bother checking eBay (thanks but no thanks on authentication). Not really a crazy come up but a pair from a pack I’ve always had my eye on but have never seen in person. I had a similar pair a few years ago - the dark blue pair - and almost immediately regretted selling them right after I sold them.
So...yeah. I’m a New Years resolution failure! It happens. As long as I get back on the horse I’m good...right? RIGHT?
