Can someone tell @stockx that facilitating the sale of shoes before they actually *officially* release might not be the best way to ensure authenticity.
Over 20 pairs sold yesterday on average of $1.3k/pair on a shoe that hasn’t yet released.
Again - how does one verify ‘authenticity’ on something that hasn’t yet ‘officially’ released? And now that the release date is delayed indefinitely...what exactly are people buying? Are they buying actual Nike products or are they buying something that appears to be ‘authentic’?
Does anyone even care? 😂
If I were an unscrupulous sneaker guy - I’d be buying hundreds of these off of reddit for $130 with 2-day air and selling them on StockX for $1.3k. Quick 10x flip. I’m not recommending this by any means - by how is anyone buying these from anyone with such a glaring loophole? As it stands, though, I don’t know what’s ‘real’ or ‘authentic’ product in this kind of sneaker-release purgatory, so I’d personally keep my distance...
