On this date 5 years ago - @klaythompson scores 37 points in the third quarter ALONE. A gargantuan feat...that’d mean he had at least 3 points for every minute in that quarter...And that reminder had me thinking of the time(s) I thrifted 2 pairs of Klay PEs here in Oakland.
So I came across another DS pair of @warriors PE’s the other day while thrifting...this time from another integral part of the first Warriors championship in 2014-2015.
This is the third Warriors PE I’ve found in the past few years of thrifting the Bay Area (or 5th, depending on how you look at it)...it’s not like a major score, but still a pretty cool piece of history - especially being that it’s from the first championship squad...and being a Warrior fan I knew what they were from across the room. Kind of a wack silhouette but that’s not really what collecting PEs is about, is it?
The other Warriors PE logos I’ve come across are interesting...kind of thoughtful...nothing major or crazy, but you can see someone spent more than 30 seconds on them. Take a look at a few other Warriors PE logos...an early @stephencurry30 pair, an early @klaythompson pair, @andre pair, @money23green pair...and then swipe to see the one I came up on the other day.
The personalized logo of the pair I found the other day is just bland as can be. It’s just so...boring. I mean, it’s a player I had enjoyed rooting for for several years - I’ve seen him in at least 25 live games when I lived on the East Coast and in Oakland when tickets were cheap. I definitely enjoyed having him on our squad...but...why couldn’t they have made a better logo for you, sir?
Which of the five logos do you think is the best?
