(1/3) True story. ...
In 2010, shortly after moving back to California from New York, my girlfriend and I took a trip from Tahoe (where we were living) down to Santa Cruz. On our way home, I always liked to stop at @crossroadstrading and @buffaloexchange so we made a day of it.

With our new handy iPhones and the ability to look up stores and directions on the go, we found a new (to us), smaller Crossroads (than the one on #sancarlos) in San Jose and I started looking around. ...
The first thing that caught my eye was a pair of those Air Force 1 x Recon barbed wire mids. I wasn’t feelin them but thought it was interesting to find a pair on the West Coast as I thought they were a shoe localized to New York. They were my size, but I was never really into them, so my eyes kept searching. ...
As my eyes scanned the womens shoes right next to the men's section, I noticed a pair of shoes I had only seen images of. I didn’t know exactly what they were called, but they were Dunk SBs and I knew that I recognized them. They were kind of a cream-white color with what looked to be print of some pretty random colors - pinks and reds and blues and greens. They were my size (9) and they were in pretty good condition and had a price tag of only $26.50...so...yea...I scooped em.

$26.50 + CA sales tax.

We went back to the car, I popped the trunk and tossed them in with all the other crap I picked up throughout the trip.
